Nothing is perfect.

Sometimes people forget that.

They want to control situations, people and things, because in their eyes, only they can make sure things go the way they think is best.

These little graphic dolls are a testiment to the imperfection in all of us.

Hello everybody. We've been busy wrapping up final exams here, thus our extended leave.

While we're not in to the whole complicated schpeal of creating new blogdrive layouts, we have been dabbling just a bit with them. Check out our latest experiment at our blog next door, Flibble Bounce.

We're also putting together a blogdrive graphics news-based community board where everyone who makes or enjoys graphics can share knowledge on various techniqes, different programs & filters, as well as find news about the latest going on in the graphics industry. We're not sure how... (more)

Miss RaeJane has brought it to my attention that April is Chid Abuse Awareness Month.

This is for you, RJ, and for everyone else out there who would like to show their support for this very worthy cause. I made several styles. Please show your support in the real world by finding out how you can help children in your community in America, and across the globe.

Quick update as Mr. Flibble & I have to go prepare to battle the rampant Algebraic Beast, lead by the forces of the intimidating Professor Dada. He weilds powerful spells called trinomials, sometimes followed by radicals. Yikes!

Easter! Chocolate! Bright colors!

Favorite Eastertime childhood memories:

>>Having to sing 'Easter Parade' to death in second grade a week before Easter

>>"Can we color easter eggs now?" asked of mom two weeks before Easter and right up until she said 'yes'.

>>"Are they ready yet?" said a million times to mom in referrence to the eggs being cool enough to color

>>Giant chocolate covered coconut easter egg with rock-hard colorful sugar flower on top.

>>Birthday was very close to Easter when I was around six or so

I love the look of glass graphics. Their luminescent quality and vibrant colors always catch my eye.

With the right filter, or 'plug-in' as they are also known as, you can easily get the look of glass in no time at all.

Some of my favorite plug-ins come from Flamingpear.com in the way of their wonderful add on called Super Blade Pro.

Some of the great things you can do with SuperBladePro is create and fill in outline graphics to your liking. Making stained glass ala graphic program! Look ma, no third-degree burns from molten led! No cuts!

These graphics are... (more)

With any good paintshop program and a little experimentation, you can go from 'meh' to 'cool!' in two seconds flat.

Here is a little cluster of grapes we made.

We started by making selections inside each shape, then flood-filled it with different shades of a teal color for the grapes, and a well-shaded blue gradient for the leaves.

Grapes being flood filled with color.

Finished grapes: flat, boring, bland

In a matter of moments and the click of a few buttons, a multitude of various effects are achieved by using the same image.
